An eternity band carries diamonds around the entire ring, while partial styles place diamonds around only part of the band. Eternity bands provide continuous sparkle but are generally much more difficult—or impossible—to resize.

Many wedding bands can be resized, depending on the design. Icebox generally offers complimentary resizing within 30 days on eligible rings, but eternity designs cannot be resized.
